• The mission of Dress for Success Peoria is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.

National Ministries

• National Ministries is a mission organization radically committed to Jesus Christ and his church making cooperative connections for ministries of Witness, Renewal, and Justice. Together with our partners in mission we encourage life in Christ in and through persons, faith communities and social systems.
  

• The program was developed in 1999 to be in partnership with ABC churches and regions to fulfill the mission goal:
  • developing and distributing resources
  • providing opportunities for leadership development
  • facilitating networking through conferences, and electronic communications
  • coordinating National Ministries' (NM) relationship with: Christmas Caring for Communities Network (CCC), Neighborhood Action Program (NAP), and the ABC Parish Nurse/Health Ministries Network (PN/HM).

Heart of Illinois United Way

The Heart of Illinois United Way was founded in 1921 and is dedicated to nurturing children and youth, to strengthening families, to building self-reliance, and to promoting health and rehabilitation in our community. The HOIUW is one of about 1,400 different United Way organizations across the country, each operated by local volunteers who make the decisions about fundraising and distributing dollars in the local community.
